Battle of the Sommeliers December

Chef Justus Moll will partner with Chef Chrissy Sanderson of Mockingbird Kitchen to create a five-course meal. Erin Vonfeldt and Will Ross (returning champion from the June event) choose wine pairings for each course, and guests will vote on the best pairings.

Fourth Course: Cured Roasted Duck Breast + Jeweled Harvest Hash + Grilled Bok Choy + Sweet & Spicy Sesame Ginger Drizzle

Fifth Course: Mocking-Mountain “Steak Oscar” – Lemon Butter & Sherry Poached Crab + Red Chili Rubbed Roasted Beef Tenderloin + Smoked Tomato Polenta + Elote Corn Compote + Shaved Asparagus

Sixth Course: Eggnog Mousse Tartlet + Peppermint Bark

***COVID-19 update: Mount Sequoyah still plans to host this event at our facility, but we have made some modifications to help keep our guests and staff safe. We will be moving the location of the event to the Dining Hall and limiting the guest list to 60 people to make sure that we can keep all guests spread out. Servers and staff will be wearing masks throughout the evening, and we ask that guests wear masks to their tables.
