BODYSONNET'S New Movement at Mount Sequoyah Performances
May 29, 2021 @ 7:30PM — May 30, 2021 @ 7:30PM Central Time (US & Canada)
An outdoor, cross-disciplinary dance performance at Mount Sequoyah
New Movement at Mt. Sequoyah unifies the dancers of BODYSONNET with local composer Amos Cochran to present a new cross-disciplinary performance. The work is developed through the personal histories of the people whose lives have been shaped by Mount Sequoyah and the Ozarks. New Movement examines collective memory, how we construct and recall memories, and how it can inform our relationship with ourselves, others, and the ground on which we live. More info at bodysonnet.org.
Performances will be May 29, and 30. Each night the performance begins at 7:30 pm, but seating will open at 7:00 pm.
New Movement at Mt. Sequoyah is presented by Mt. Sequoyah with support from Trillium Arts.
This project is funded by Artists 360, a program of Mid-America Arts Alliance with support from the Walton Family Foundation.
